This record was released in 1976 on the Island label in its original version with this very rare cover, never marketed in Europe but only available for England and the USA for a very small pressing.

A few months ago, the label SOUL MAKOSSA which manages Manu Dibango’s rights, entrusted the audio masters of this sublime record to Diggers Factory for which was asked to redo a mastering adapted to the vinyl pressing to obtain the optimal quality of the sound and especially to find the original cover.

The master being no more in state and not allowed to make a new satisfactory mastering, the label had to look everywhere during long weeks for a copy of the famous treasure! It was finally bought in the USA and brought back to France to be scanned for the graphic part and restored and sent to the Art & Son studio in Annecy where Christophe, the sound engineer, took the 1976 vinyl and recreated an original master with an unequalled quality and even better than the original.
