Pro-Ject is an Austrian company specialized in fabrication and selling of Hi-Fi high quality turntables. Funded in 1990 in a context where CD was becoming leader of the listening support, Pro-Ject is still producing its turntables by hands nowadays, in its factory of Litovel in Czech Republic, which was the factory producing all the turntables for the former USSR. Since their beginning, their purpose has always been to propose easy-to-use products, an high fidelity sound and a superior quality.

Driven by the willingness to promote analogic over numeric sound, Pro-Ject has become the main actor of the reinvention of high fidelity turntables. Today, Pro-Ject is the world leader of the fabrication of Hi-Fi turntables in a period where vinyl records are seen again as unavoidable by music lovers.

From 1998, Pro-Ject also started to produce its own electronic hifi. Today, the range of product count more than 100 references which are rewarded by the prestigious EISA prize.
