And our selection continues to grow with more than 50 other vinyl records... !
Rebel in Styyle is one of U-Roy's last four albums. "The Originator", as people call him, decided to share each song with an artist, just to name a few: George Nooks, Anthony B, Bushman, Tony Curtis... With the participation of the best Jamaican musicians like China Smith, Obeah, Axeman or Dean Fraser. All these elements contribute to making this album one of the best of his career!
This record features a collection of themes and credits from the Star Trek saga. The music is taken from the first episodes (dating back to 1979) to the most recent ones. For the first time on vinyl.
Attention, hidden gem! A previously unreleased version of Amsterdam, discovered in the archives of French radio. Recorded live at the Maison de la Radio for the "Jam Sessions" programme in July 1965, this version features a never-before-seen collaboration: without accordion, accompanied only by Gérard Jouannest (piano) and Pierre Sim (double bass), Jacques Brel performs a heart-rending Amsterdam.
Collectors beware!
V.I.C.T.O.R is the second album by the brilliant French producer Golden Bug, aka Antoine Harispuru. The album released on La Belle Records, Golden Bug's label, is a psychedelic disco ode with more electronic and techno passages.
Tennis System is a power trio with an emphasis on power, capable of creating a storm of noise and melody that would make Kevin Shields proud.
On her first jazz quartet album, Visions, award-winning saxophonist Melissa Aldana connects her work to the legacy of Latino artists who came before her, creating a path for her own expression. Inspired by the life and work of Frida Kahlo, Aldana draws parallels between her experiences as a saxophonist in a male-dominated community, and Kahlo's experiences as a female visual artist seeking affirmation in a male-dominated landscape. On her first jazz quartet recording, Aldana adds a new dimension to her sound, resulting in a transformative movement of personal expression and identity.
