George Palmer, a young artist from the DUB and sound system scene, gained early recognition for his captivating live performances. He collaborated with the international label Irie Ites Records to produce his debut album titled "Working Man," consisting of 10 tracks, including two collaborations with renowned singers LION D from Italy and SOLO BANTON from England. The album features compositions from notable artists such as Sly & Robbie (Jamaica), Jammy's (Jamaica), Naram (New Zealand), Med Tone (Israel), and Irie Ites (France), giving it a significant scope. George Palmer's dynamic performances with Irie Ites Sound at various European festivals during the summer delighted fans.

In December 2013, Alain Pilot and his show "Bande Passante" on RFI celebrated Manu Dibango's 80th birthday by organizing a special program with Akalé Wubé, ambassadors of Ethio-Jazz. The band performed live renditions of Manu Dibango's 1970s tracks, "African Pop Session" and "Ekedi," with the saxophonist himself joining in. A strong bond developed, and Akalé Wubé paid tribute to Dibango by composing "Anbessa." They collaborated on several occasions on stage. Under Manu Dibango's guidance, the group recorded five other lesser-known pieces from the saxophonist's repertoire, but unfortunately, he passed away before completing the last solos in 2020. In honor of their friendship, Akalé Wubé released the album "Anbessa," performing all the tracks on vinyl record.
